Man killed in rollover crash in Marion, state police say

MARION, Mass. — A 28-year-old man was killed in a rollover crash on Route 195 in Marion early Monday morning, state police said.

William Gronblom died in the crash, which occurred in the westbound lane of Route 195 at 12:13 a.m. Monday, state police said.

A preliminary investigation found that a Toyota RAV4 SUV, driven by Gronblom, was traveling westbound and approaching an overpass when it drifted off the left side of the road into the grass median and struck a concrete support section of the overpass, state police said.

Gronblom was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford, where he was pronounced dead, state police said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
