DIGHTON, Mass — FBI agents converged at the small-town home of 21-year-old Jack Teixeira  - a Massachusetts Air National Guardsman who specializes in intelligence.

A neighbor drove up on the scene with police blocking the road. He was shocked by what he saw and the arrest of a local man.

“I left home about 1:30 and headed up Maple and there was police, National Guard all with their guns. Six or eight round the street and I had to turn round and come back,” said Dick Treacy who also lives on Maple Street.

Treacy a former Navy man says if Teixeira who is in the National Guard is guilty of disclosing military secrets he should be punished.

“It’s unbelievable. I mean he belongs somewhere and it’s not on Maple Street,” said Treacy.

Earlier Gov. Healey said the state is doing its part to cooperate with the investigation.

“It’s an incredibly startling revelation. we are continuing to get the news we are working closely with the federal authorities on this and certainly, we will do whatever we can to assist,” said Gov. Healey
