Juvenile charged in Stoughton murder of 17-year-old Christian Vines

STOUGHTON, Mass. — A juvenile has been charged with murder in the slaying of 17-year-old Christian Vines, according to the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office.

The juvenile, whose age or name were not released, was arrested Friday at Wrentham Outlets, and is expected to be arraigned in Stoughton District Court on Monday, the DA said.

Vines, of Randolph, died after he was fatally shot outside a Stoughton apartment complex on July 21.

He was found dying in the driver’s seat of his mother’s Honda in the parking lot of the Walnut Park Condominiums.

“I love my son,” Annette Vines said at the time, before collapsing in her aunt’s arms feet from where her son was fatally shot. “I just I can’t believe he’s gone.”

The teen would have graduated Avon High School and turned 18 next month.
