FRAMINGHAM, Mass. — A jackknifed tractor-trailer shut down part of the Massachusetts Turnpike in Framingham on Tuesday.
Emergency crews responding to a report of a crash on the eastbound side of Interstate 90 near mile marker 112 shortly before 11 a.m. found the tractor-trailer blocking all travel lanes, according to MassDOT.
There was no immediate word on injuries to those involved in the crash.
Only the eastbound breakdown lane was opened until the wreck was cleared shortly before 1 p.m.
A photo from a MassDOT camera showed traffic backed up for miles.
The crash is under investigation.
