Music lovers can enjoy the sounds of jazz at the 11th Annual Cambridge Jazz Festival this weekend. The free event runs from noon to 6 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday at Danehy Park in Cambridge.
In addition to live performances, attendees can enjoy food vendors, dancing, and family-friendly activities throughout the day.
Yankee Homecoming kicks off in Newburyport
A week of festivities begins Saturday in Newburyport with the start of Yankee Homecoming Days.
The annual celebration runs through Aug. 2 and features a variety of activities, including a marketplace, downtown entertainment, competitions, games, and special events. Organizers encourage visitors to check the daily schedule to plan their trip.
Patriots training camp open to fans
Football fans can also head to Gillette Stadium this weekend as the New England Patriots open up training camp.
Open practice sessions are scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday, though dates and times are subject to change. Stadium gates open at 9:15 a.m., with practice beginning around 10:15 a.m.
Fans attending training camp can also take part in a variety of activities and experiences offered around the stadium.
