NEW YORK CITY — A 17-year-old boy’s wish has been granted: he’s going to the Super Bowl.
Aiden Clark, from Ware, got the surprise of his life on the final day of 2019 during the live broadcast of New Year’s Eve with Steve Harvey in New York City. Former Patriot tight end Rob Gronkowski joined Harvey and surprised Clark and his younger brother, telling him that his wish to go to the Super Bowl was coming true.
The wish is being granted by Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island, which grants wishes for children with critical illnesses. Clark was diagnosed with a nervous system disorder.
Clark told Steve Harvey, “This is probably the most fun I’ve had all decade.” After Gronkowski gave Aiden the Super Bowl tickets, he said, “I can’t believe it!”
