GLOUCESTER, Mass — Gloucester firefighters fought a blaze near Quarry Street Saturday that impacted over 30 acres of brush.
Firefighters were able to knock down the fire by late Saturday night.
All the homes in the area were able to escape damage but there are still hot spots in the area that the fire department will observe Sunday morning.
City officials asked residents to stay away from the area.
