STURBRIDGE, Mass. — A Massachusetts highway was left soaked in fuel and littered with debris after a wreck involving two tractor-trailers on Monday morning.
Troopers responding to a report of a crash on the eastbound side of Route 84 in Sturbridge after 10 a.m. found the cargo from two damaged trucks strewn all over the highway, according to Massachusetts State Police.
A third vehicle was also involved in the crash. There were no serious injuries reported.
“Damage to the trucks resulted in cargo, debris, and spilled fuel on the road,” state police said in a tweet.
Traffic is being diverted through a nearby weigh station as crews work to clear the scene.
The crash is under investigation.
