PEMBROKE, Mass. — Meet Espresso, aka Bean — a lovable 4-year-old, 70-pound Staffordshire Bull Terrier who is looking for a forever home.
Bean has been waiting far too long for someone to see the wonderful dog underneath his tough-guy exterior.
About a year ago, Espresso was found wandering the streets alone and brought to animal control. Sadly, no one ever came looking for him.
Since arriving at Buddy and Friends Animal Rescue, Bean has shown that what he really wants is connection, guidance, and a person willing to understand him.
Bean is smart, eager to learn, and already knows basic obedience. He has plenty of personality and is absolutely convinced he’s a lap dog, despite weighing 70 pounds! He does best with structure, consistency, patience, and a confident leader who can give him the boundaries and continued guidance he needs to thrive.
Espresso has played with other dogs while supervised, but his manners can sometimes be a little much. Because of that, any potential dog sibling would need to be tolerant and able to appropriately match his energy.
