FITCHBURG, Mass. — A Fitchburg woman says she plans to buy a house and a car after she recently won $1 million on a scratch ticket.
Fanny Almanzar Thomas chose the cash option on her “$1,000,000 Winning 7″ instant ticket game prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission.
Her winning ticket was purchased at Wyman’s Liquors at 519 Electric Avenue in Fitchburg.
The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
