BOSTON — A 24-year-old man was arrested Friday night and is now facing firearm-related charges following an investigation that took place in the area of Montebello Road in Jamaica Plain.
The Boston Police Department told Boston 25 News that at 7:19 p.m., the BPD Youth Violence Strike Force arrested Eugene Parrish, 24, of Dorchester, following a brief altercation. Officers were able to recover a Taurus Arms model LR-22 after a search at a nearby residence.
Parrish is expected to appear in Roxbury District Court on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, carrying a loaded firearm, and possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number.
