Firefighters responding to a report of a blaze on Vine Street found thick smoke billowing out of a multi-story home.
Video from the scene showed crews using a ladder truck to douse the second and third floors of the home with water.

Crews did “everything they could” to salvage personal belongings and Christmas gifts.
The displaced families were placed in an Everett Police Department command van to keep warm while they awaited assistance from the Red Cross.
Crews from Malden and Chelsea assisted Everett firefighters in battling the blaze.
There were no reported injuries.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
