ANDOVER, Mass. — The Merrimack Valley was one of the higher snowfall areas, with more than 8″ of snow that has been falling since midnight.

Road conditions were slippery all day, we caught a parade of plows hard at work.

Despite the conditions, there were some people who ventured out. Boston25 spoke with Richard Freeman who is visiting from Arizona, he told us he was hoping to see snow this week.

We drove around the area trying to find people out enjoying the snow, but most people we ran into have been working in it and were happy to see another decent snow storm.

“I think this is fantastic. I know everybody else hates it, but we are really enjoying it,” he said.

“I mean, the white stuff means more green stuff for us selling equipment,” Bill Watkins told us in response to today’s snow.

Now with plunging temperatures, the concern will be all of this turning to ice.
