MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — An elderly couple and their two dogs were ejected from their vehicle in a crash on Monday afternoon in Marlborough, officials confirmed.
Crews received the call around 2:45 p.m. for a rollover crash near the Interstate 495 interchange and found the man and women. They were declared deceased on scene.
One dog was uninjured while the other was taken to Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine Tufts University in Grafton with serious injuries. He was reported to be still alive as of Monday.
A third women in her car went into a ditch and was conscious and alert on scene. The extent of her injuries is unknown.
The identity of the couple has not been released. The cause of the crash is under investigation at this time.
