Easton man dead in motorcycle crash in Raynham

RAYNHAM, Mass. — An Easton man has died after a motorcycle crash involving a pickup truck on Route 138 on Sunday.

At around 7:45 p.m. first responders arrived on scene after a report of serious crash involving a motorcycle on Route 138 at King Philip Street.

The motorcycle operator, identified as 37-year-old Daniel Pitts of South Easton, sustained life-threatening injuries.

He was transported to the hospital where he passed away.

The truck driver remained on scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
