LAWRENCE, Mass. — Gas being sold at more than 60 cents below the Massachusetts average is keeping customers coming back for more in Lawrence.

The price at the Global gas station on Winthrop Avenue is $3.69 a gallon.

The current Massachusetts average is $4.32 a gallon and the national average is $4.30 a gallon.

Owner Osama Noureddine told Boston 25 News he’s seeing a steady line of drivers at his pumps from open until close around midnight.

“We try to keep the margin very low,” said Noureddine. “We get benefit from customers and customers get benefit from the low price, and everybody goes home happy.”

Noureddine said the large volume of sales is helping him to keep his price as low as possible.

“I come here every time. There’s always a line and it goes fast,” said driver Jordan Carbone. “This is as low as it gets!”

The drivers who Boston 25 News spoke with said they plan to continue filling up at the Global gas station to save as much as they can.

They said it’s a tough opportunity to pass up considering the prices they’re seeing elsewhere.

The Mobil just across the street was selling gas at $4.29 a gallon as of Wednesday night.
