DORCHESTER, Mass. — Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a pickup truck in Dorchester.
Wednesday night a truck crashed into a tree at 11:30 p.m. on Talbot Avenue, officials said. At the time of the serious crash, the roadway was covered with snow.
There was serious damage to the vehicle after hitting the tree, allegedly causing the truck to split in half.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The stretch of road was closed for several hours during the investigation.
Boston police are still investigating the cause of the accident. The victim’s name has not been released yet.
