SOMERVILLE, Mass — Calling all LEGO fanatics who want to get paid to play with LEGO Bricks! The Lego Discovery Center in Somerville is looking for two Assistant Master Model Builders.
The new LEGO Discovery Center opens on April 14 and is billed as North America’s first “next generation” Lego Discovery Center.
The 43,000-square-foot facility in Somerville’s Assembly Row has been closed since September for upgrades and renovations.
The Assistant Master Model Builder position will help visitors build memories through various LEGO creations and classes.
If chosen for the job, the model builders’ office will come with a million LEGO bricks. Even cooler, the office will come with millions of LEGO bricks and be in the heart of the ‘ultimate indoor LEGO playground’ opening in Spring 2023!
Final applicants will be invited to compete in the Brick Factor 2023, a live competition on February 21, at Quincy Market.
Finalists will execute three rounds of timed freestyle builds using their imagination and skills in an elimination-style competition while interacting and engaging with kids in the lively marketplace.
