STONEHAM, Mass. — A driver was cited early on Monday morning after striking a police cruiser in Stoneham.
At around 2:18 a.m., a state trooper reported his cruiser was struck while parked on the shoulder adjacent to the breakdown lane on I-93 north in Stoneham.
According to authorities, the state trooper suffered minor injuries.
The operator of the vehicle that struck the cruiser was served with two civil violations for distracted driving and a marked lanes violation.
