DA identifies woman died from an apparent drowning in Nahant

NAHANT, Mass. — The Essex County District Attorney’s office has identified the young woman who died of an apparent drowning in Nahant on Tuesday.

Elke Noblesse was 22-years-old.

“She was living in Nahant and is originally from the Netherlands.  Foul play is not suspected,” according to a statement Thursday from the district attorney’s office.

The apparent drowning happened at around 3:00 p.m. at the Cary Street Club, 89 Summer Street, in Nahant.

Noblesse was pulled from a pool and found unresponsive.  She was transported to Salem Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
