Close call for driver in apparent Somerville shooting

SOMERVILLE, Mass. — The daughter of a Somerville man in his 70′s says her dad was nearly hit during an apparent shooting early Monday.

Laura Ferraz tells Boston 25 News her father was double parked outside of a home on Marshall Street, while re-arranging cars from their driveway, when he heard a “pop.”

Windows on both sides of his car were appear to be shot out.

The apparent shooting happened right near a playground on Marshall Street at about 6:30 Monday morning.

Boston 25 News has reached out to Somerville Police for more information.
