CHELMSFORD, Mass. — Latest: Body of missing Chelmsford woman found in Merrimack River

The Chelmsford Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a woman who has been missing since Friday.

Susan Willand, 54, was last seen on Dec. 20 around 8 a.m. on Kennedy Drive in North Chelmsford. She’s 5-foot-7, approximately 125 pounds and has blonde hair.

On Monday morning, Chelmsford Deputy Police Chief Dan Ahern said that local police and members of other agencies will search in the area of the Williamsburg Condominium neighborhood on Wellman Ave. Officials didn’t explain why the search is centered there.

She might be wearing a dark blue or black winter coat with a hood, police said, and she might appear confused or disoriented.
