MALDEN, Mass. — A car crashed into a Malden restaurant on Wednesday afternoon.
According to police, officers responded to Santa Fe Burrito Grill and Bar on Pleasant Street after receiving calls about a vehicle collision into a restaurant through the front entrance.
An 87-year-old woman was in the car, but she was not injured, according to the managers of the restaurant
Police said there were no other pedestrians or patrons who were hurt.
“The car hit the table and the table hit my back,” Manager Yasmin Tenan said, who was inside the restaurant at the time.
“She was a little bit scared, and I just helped her get out of the car.”
The restaurant expects to reopen in the coming days.
