ATHOL, Mass — A car crash in Athol wiped out power to hundreds of residents.
Viewer photos sent to Boston 25 News showed a car overturned and a pole knocked over.
Athol police alerted residents to the potential power outages on Facebook Sunday afternoon.
As of midnight, over six hours since the crash occurred, power was still out to 7% of the town, - about 701 customers, according to MEMA.
