Cambridge police officers reunite missing baby skunks with their family

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. — Police officers in Cambridge helped reunite a pair of missing baby skunks with their family on Sunday.

“You never know who you’ll come across while working a shift,” the Cambridge Police Department said in a tweet.

The Cambridge Animal Commission had encountered the skunk family earlier in the day, prompting a search for the babies.

The department shared photos of the rescue on social media.
