BOSTON — This is the second year where there was no audience allowed on the oval to watch the dress rehearsal but the show was taped to broadcast just in case weather impacts the big concert tomorrow.

The artists are sending positive vibes that The Fourth will truly be spectacular.

“What weather?” quipped a performer.

Even with weather concerns – the show goes on tomorrow in light or intermittent rain.

“This is my 28th time so let’s have collective energy for fair weather,” said Boston Pops Conductor Keith Lockhart.

This year’s line-up includes country music duo LOCASH, who are calling for clear skis.

“It’s great it’s not going to rain we just pushed it aside,” said Chris Lucas of LOCASH.

The artists from Tennessee say they’re enjoying Boston.

“Someone yelled across the street “LOCASH!” I thought ‘oh man we just got recognized that is so cool,’” said Preston Brust. “Boston has been so good for us.”

Boston 25 spoke to them as headliner, En Vogue ran through a sound check.

“It’s truly been a blessing,” said En Vogue’s Terry Ellis. “We are so grateful to still have this opportunity to do what we love to do.”

The Grammy-nominated group is currently on tour. They say the audience can expect their signature sound and choreography.

What they and everyone in the show are letting go of are any foul weather predictions.

“We are optimistic we are saying this is going to happen tomorrow,” said Cindy Herron.

If you plan to come out tomorrow – the oval opens at noon.
