BOSTON — Boston police are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman wanted in connection with an assault and battery involving an elderly person in Roxbury.
According to the Boston Police Department, the incident occurred on Tuesday, when officers were dispatched to the area of Rockland Street for reports of an assault.
Police described the suspect as a Hispanic woman who was last seen wearing a white top and blue jeans. Investigators say she fled the area in an unknown blue and black SUV.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detectives at (617) 343-4275 or anonymously through Boston CrimeStoppers by calling 1-800-494-TIPS, texting “TIP” to CRIME (27463), or online through the Boston Police Department’s CrimeStoppers program.
No additional details about the victim or the nature of the assault have been released.
