BROCKTON, Mass. — A man has been arrested in the weekend murder of a 31-year-old man in Brockton.
The victim, Harry Williams, was found early Saturday morning in the area of 21 Auna Drive. He had been shot several times.
On Tuesday, State Police announced the arrest of Kevin Gomes, 26, for the murder. Prosecutors say Gomes was located in Worcester and placed under arrest without incident.
Police say they interviewed several witnesses, physical evidence and video surveillance, before arresting Gomes.
He is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Brockton District Court on one court of murder.
