8-year-old boy hit by car in Attleboro

ATTLEBORO, Mass. — An 8-year-old year old hit by a car in Attleboro on Monday is expected to be okay, officials said.

First responders were called to Pearl Street for reports of a pedestrian accident around 1 p.m.

On arrival, they located an 8-year-old boy suffering from injuries consistent with a crash. A bicycle was located at the scene.

He was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the vehicle remained on scene.

The crash is under investigation.
