3 people injured, including child after officer-involved crash in Roslindale

ROSLINDALE, Mass. — A Boston Police cruiser was involved in a crash in Roslindale early Monday morning.

The accident happened a short time ago at the intersection of Cummins and Sycamore Streets. The police’s SUV cruiser appears to have hit the driver’s side of a minivan. Airbags in both cars did go off.

Boston 25 News was told by the Boston Police Department an adult and child in the minivan were injured as a result of the crash and were sent to a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Police also confirmed that the officer in the cruiser was also sent to a nearby hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Boston Police Department.
