3 arrested, 12 scooters towed as part of ‘Operation Kickstand’ in Dorchester

DORCHESTER, Mass. — Three people were arrested, and 12 scooters were towed in Dorchester as part of “Operation Kickstand” on Saturday.

Officers with the Scooter Interdiction Team conducted a targeted enforcement operation focused on scooters and mopeds.

Police arrested three unnamed people and issued summonses to three others.

According to police, the 12 mopeds were towed near the Caribbean Carnival Parade route.
