25 years ago today, Jesus de la Cruz disappeared in Lynn

The FBI and Lynn Police are still looking for information on what happened to this little boy

LYNN, Mass. — An unsolved case that continues to haunt the north shore of Massachusetts is now 25 years old.

One September 28, 1996, Jesus de la Cruz was walking on Park Street in Lynn. He was wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and brown and yellow boots.

He has not been seen since.

The FBI has a released a poster with an age progression, showing what Jesus may look like now.

The 6-year-old disappeared near his home and investigators are renewing their calls for tips to solve this mystery.

Investigators say he has a scar above his left eye and a birthmark on his left calf and the left side of his forehead.

Previous age progressions have been released by investigators over the years, but there has never been a break in the case.
