One person is dead and another is injured after a car crashed into a Roslindale triple-decker Sunday afternoon.

The person who died was on the sidewalk when the silver vehicle crashed into the front of the building on Washington Street around 5 p.m., the Suffolk District Attorney Kevin Hayden told Boston 25 News.

Another person found near the car was hospitalized. Both victims, men in their 60s, according to the DA’s office.

“I take my kid to daycare about 10 blocks away and it shouldn’t feel dangerous to do so,” Sam Bruno said.

Boston police aren’t speculating on what caused the accident, but some neighbors told Boston 25 News they’re always worried about speeding cars on the street.

Officials spent hours at the scene of the crash gathering evidence.

It’s not clear if the driver of the car will face any charges.
