NEWTON, Mass. — It was a special Leap Day for several families around the area!
At Mass. General Hospital today, David Florez Malachias was born to parents Maria Garcia and David Malachias. He was one of only three Leap Day babies born at MGH.

One Waltham mother gave birth to her third child at Newton-Wellesley Hospital on Feb. 29.
Symone Alyson Ofori was born at 1:11 a.m. on Feb. 29. She has two older brothers, Ethan and Aiden, and two very happy parents, Mavis and Baffour.
