EVERETT, Mass. — Late Tuesday night, the Everett Fire Department responded to a large fire in a multi-family home on Floyd Street.
The fire was reported just after 10 p.m. and burned for nearly two hours before firefighters were able to get the bulk of the flames knocked down.
Neighbors worked to make sure everyone got out, including a sleeping mother and her son in the home next door. The mother said she was alerted when someone started banging on her door.
Fire crews from several towns responded and FOX25 was told no one was hurt.
The home where the flames began appears to be a complete loss.
Investigators are working to figure out how the fire started.
