BILLERICA, Mass. — A fire in Billerica has destroyed a home under construction Friday evening.
SkyFox captured video of large flames overtaking the home on Sheridan Street.
Nine people in homes on either side of the fire were displaced, but no one was injured.
“We smelled it first.. as I approached front door I saw black smoke billowing. By the time I got to the front door it was fully engulfed,” neighbor Jack Conroy told FOX25.
Crews were called in from other towns including Burlington and Bedford to help.
The Billerica Fire Department says the cause is still unknown.
