Keolis GM promises fully restored Commuter Rail service, thanks passengers for patience

(MyFoxBoston.com) -- The weeks of hassles and delays are supposed to finally be over for Commuter Rail passengers as Monday marks the deadline that Keolis set for service to be fully restored after five full weeks of running on a reduced schedule.

The Keolis General Manager was at North Station throughout Monday morning greeting passengers and thanking them for their patience, which has truly been tested.

FOX25 reported on the multiple breakdowns and widespread delays throughout the record winter we had.  Over the last month, Governor Baker has been closely watching MBTA operations, even creating a special panel to look into infrastructure, financial and other issues related to the MBTA.

This week, both MBTA and Keolis officials will be testifying on Beacon Hill, where lawmakers are expected to ask tough questions about the reduced schedules, break downs and delays.

One of the people expected to be grilled by lawmakers is the Keolis General manager.
