IPSWICH, Mass. — An electrical worker was seriously injured after being hit by a car while working on a power pole in Ipswich Tuesday night.
The man was a town employee restoring power after the storm passed through when a car crashed into him.
Police haven’t said if the driver will face any charges, but they did say it didn’t appear as if they were impaired.
The driver stayed on the scene and cooperated with investigators who are still working to determine the cause of the crash.
The worker was taken to Beverly Hospital with serious injuries.
