SAGAMORE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- All lanes of the Sagamore Bridge are now open, after a head-on collision shut down the bridge most of Friday morning.
A truck carrying cranberries was involved in the accident, which caused cranberries to spill out all over the road.
Mass. state police said one person was seriously injured in the crash and taken to Rhode Island Hospital. A second victim had minor injuries, but was not taken to the hospital.
The Sagamore Bridge was shut down around 6:30 a.m., but reopened just before 8:30 a.m.
There is also another crash in the area. Police say there are injuries at a crash on Cranberry Highway near Stop and Shop Gas.
