Human remains found in woods in Exeter

EXETER, R.I. (AP) — Rhode Island State Police are investigating the discovery of human remains in a heavily wooded area of Exeter and whether the remains are those of a missing Pennsylvania man.

Maj. Todd Catlow says the skeletal remains were found Friday.

He says there are no signs of foul play, although police are treating it as a homicide investigation.

Fal-Camara was reported missing in May from a drug and alcohol rehab facility about two to three miles from where the remains were found.

Catlow says because of the location, police are looking at whether it is 42-year-old Mamadou Fal-Camara, of Newportville, Pa., and more recently of Brockton, Mass.

Catlow says police did two searches over the summer with dogs, but the remains were found outside the search area.
