Hot off t-shirt press: Super Bowl XLIX Pats gear

Hot off the t-shirt presses are truckloads of brand new AFC Championship gear. Official championship hats and shirts went on sale Sunday night at a few outlets, with more going on sale early Monday morning.

Modells opened at 6 a.m. to catch Pats fans on their way to work. There are stacks of souvenirs piled on the tables at the Newton store. Most of the new items say "Conference Champions" and have the Super Bowl XLIX logo.

As for tickets to Super Bowl XLIX, SeatGeek says the cost is actually down this year over the last few Super Bowls.

According to the sports ticket analysis, the average resale price of a Super Bowl ticket is $2,764, which is the lowest in five years. SeatGeek blames "Super Bowl fatigue," noting New England fans are seeing their team in the big game for the 6th time in 14 years.

Right now, the floor price for Super Bowl XLIX is $1,800 for upper level. If you want to sit on the 50-yard line, it will cost you $11,500.

And JetBlue Airways says it is adding new non-stop flights out of Boston for Super Bowl weekend. From January 30 to February 2 there will be a 8:23 a.m. and a 11:30 a.m. non-stop to Phoenix.
