BLACKSTONE, Mass. — Police are investigating the death of a man in Blackstone and have taken his son into custody for questioning.

Walter Armstrong, 84, was found dead in a home he shared with his son Wednesday afternoon.

On Thursday, police said they were looking for Walter's son Glenn Armstrong, 48, for questioning.

Armstrong was taken into custody in Mount Laurel New Jersey after the truck he was driving apparently ran out of gas.

Armstrong was also wanted for an arrest warrant on unrelated charges.

Glenn Armstrong had previously served 18 months in prison for threatening to kill the President of the United States.

“I can't get into motive. I can tell you this, the younger Mr. Armstrong is well known to the Blackstone Police as he has served several sentences in the past.  One of those in 1994 for threats to kill President Bill Clinton,” Worcester County District Attorney Joseph Early said.

It is unclear how long it will take for Armstrong to be returned to Massachusetts for questioning in his father's death.

Anyone with information is asked to call Massachusetts State Police at (508) 829-8410.
