It's the weekend before the 4th of July and extreme heat is expected, meaning many will plan to head to the beach. However, some beaches may not be open.
Several inland beaches had to close due to high bacteria count.
Stoddard Park Beach in Holliston is closed until further notice due to the bacteria. Pleasure Point remains open.
In Framingham, Saxonville Beach and Waushakum Beach are closed until further notice.
Wayland also reportedly closed its beaches due to E. coli.
Officials are hoping for safe samples so they can reopen beaches for the weekend.
