BOSTON — The defense is now making its case in the double murder trial of former New England Patriots player, Aaron Hernandez.
Hernandez is charged with killing two men outside a South End nightclub in 2012.
The prosecution rested Monday after calling 61 witnesses.
There will be no testimony in the case Tuesday.
So far, the defense has called three witnesses -- a strip club manager, a Boston street sweeper and a man who took a photograph with Hernandez just hours before the shooting.
The defense plans on calling its final witness Wednesday and the jury could start deliberations by the end of the week.
