BOSTON — In court Wednesday, tattoo artist David Nelson described one of the two guns he inked on Aaron Hernandez in Hermosa Beach, California.
The tattoo session was in March 2013, 8 months after the drive-by shooting that killed Safiro Furtado and Daniel De'Abreu.
Prosecutors alleged Hernandez got tattoos to memorialize the double murder.
Investigators say the gun used was a revolver manufactured 104 years ago.
One has five bullets loaded into the cylinder of a six-shooter, allegedly representative of the five shots they say Hernandez fired with “deadly accuracy.”
The jury was not present for nelson's testimony, so they didn't get to hear defense attorney George Leontire describe the tattoo artist as a liar.
