Here's what a blizzard looks like

BOSTON — A blizzard dumped almost a foot of snow on Boston Thursday and slammed cities across the northeast.

We know a blizzard involves sustained high winds, blowing snow and limited visibility for several hours. Specifically, the winds have to reach over 35 miles with a visibility of less than a quarter of a mile for at least three hours.

But what does it actually look like?
