Lockdown lifted at Haverhill High School

HAVERHILL, Mass. — The lockdown at Haverhill High School has been lifted after the school received a threat Friday.

Margaret Marotta, superintendent of Haverhill Public Schools says the high school received a threat on Friday morning. Although they do not believe the threat is credible, police put the school on lockdown and swept the area.

Police have since cleared the scene and say no one is in harm at this time.

Police are continuing to investigate.
