Harvard students get email from account that sent previous death threats

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Harvard students received an email Christmas morning from an account that sent them threatening letters in the past.

Just over 100 undergrads got an email at about 8:35 a.m. originating from the same address as a racially charged death threat sent in October, according to the Harvard Crimson. The email was not written in clear English and reportedly apologized for the previous threat. The author also said they would "never kill someone," however the October threat led to an investigation that lasted more than a month.

Harvard University Police Department spokesperson Steven G. Catalano confirmed that police are aware of the most recent email and said the investigation into the emails remains ongoing.
