WASHINGTON, DC — All Samsung Galaxy Note7 phones have been banned from U.S. air travel, announced the FAA and U.S. DOT Friday.
People who own the mobile phone cannot take it in a carry-on or in checked baggage on flights to, from or within the U.S. The phones cannot be shipped as air cargo.
The ban goes into effect Saturday, Oct. 15 at noon EST.
