Gail Huff recounts 1980 sexual assault

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The wife of former U.S. Senator Scott Brown has revealed she was the victim of a sexual assault while attending Boston University in 1980.

According to the Boston Globe, Gail Huff recounted the assault before a crowd of nearly 200 people at an event for the It Happened to Alexa Foundation. The foundation was created for Alexa Branchini, who was raped at knifepoint inside a BU bathroom in 1999.

Huff said she was also sexually assaulted inside a bathroom. She said she testified against her alleged attacker, but he was freed due to a lack of sufficient evidence. The former television anchor said she lived in fear for many years because he was freed.
